Celebrating Easter with a Reset Button

Easter Gifts for Family and Friends

Reset Button

Easter is such a beautiful holiday to celebrate. It is a symbol of hope and promise—like hitting the reset button on life. On the third day, He rose again. We all have the opportunity to rise again. We get to choose to reset our life at any time without judgment. God loves, not judges.

I made a very powerful choice a little over two years ago to reset my life when I left my marriage. It was the most difficult decision I have ever made. It came with guilt, and for a long time, I wasn’t sure if it was the right choice. But as they say, what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger—and if Jesus can come back to life, so can we (metaphorically speaking). My heart and soul had gotten lost in an unhealthy marriage, and today, I can say with confidence that I’m the healthiest and happiest version of myself I’ve ever been.

The second reset button I hit was resigning from a six-figure corporate job as a single mom with two kids to chase a dream called Entry Envy. It was a huge leap of faith. But I believed in the momentum, the feedback, and the people around me who said, “You can do this.” Now, I’m my own boss—and let’s be honest, I’m the toughest boss I’ve ever had.

Life Lessons From Easter

To further reflect on the spirit of Easter, here are some life lessons I’ve learned through my personal and professional reset moments:

  • Easter reminds us of redemption. You can always begin again.

  • Easter symbolizes rebirth. Whether it’s leaving a relationship or a job, you are allowed to start fresh.

  • Easter teaches faith. Trusting in God, yourself, and your community can transform your journey.

  • Easter inspires leadership. Show up. Be kind. Be the example for your children and your community.

  • Easter invites gratitude. In the chaos, choose to see the beauty. Choose to say “thank you.”

Lead by Example

I believe in leading by example. A friend recently posted about how small towns shape who we are, and I couldn’t agree more. My parents taught me the simple yet powerful value: Be nice to everyone—it’s a small town. The truth is, it’s a small world.

My daughters are watching me. Some days they may think I’m a little nuts—juggling meetings, lipstick, and late nights—but I know they’re also learning grit, grace, and how to treat people well.

Trust

Entry Envy wouldn’t be where it is without my team—starting with my mother and extending to every person, local and abroad, who contributes to this dream. Even though asking for help has never been my strength, I’ve learned that we’re not meant to do life alone.

The biggest lesson I continue to practice is trust:

  • Trust in a higher power

  • Trust in yourself

  • Trust in others

  • Let go of control

  • Lead with love

It’s simple. But not easy. And yet, Easter reminds us of what’s possible when we do.

Gratitude and Easter Joy

Easter comes just when the world needs it most. A season of spring blossoms, family dinners, children’s laughter, and quiet prayers. We are not perfect, but we are blessed. Every time I return from a trip and hear “Welcome back,” I whisper a prayer of gratitude.

Let us pray for one another, for the less fortunate, for peace, and for joy.

And thank you—from the bottom of my heart—for helping make my Entry Envy dream come true.

Happy Easter. 💛
