Oh my gosh, it’s finally time for the bunnies…it’s time to celebrate Easter! Easter is one of my favorite holidays for many reasons, but you’ve got to admit the darlingness of the decorations rival Christmas! It’s such a delightful time of year, filled with:

• Spring colors

• Beautiful flowers

• Bunnies, chicks, and every shade of egg imaginable

• Carrots, bird nests, and even gnomes!

I had so much fun designing each decor kit, so let’s take a look behind the scenes at the inspiration behind this month's home decorating kits!

Enchanted Blooms - Lavender and Moss Bunny

Sometimes I fall in love with flowers first; other times it’s accessories. This time it was a bunny! I fell in love with this little moss bunny a year ago, and when I added a twine bow, I was done for. I knew she needed to be featured in a decor kit but then came the question of what to pair her with.

Purple has maintained its trend this spring, so I found the most beautiful baby eucalyptus accented with touches of pinks and purples amidst the green leaves. These shades helped me pull in additional textures and even a feather. It’s a cross between a wildflower garden and a night out! Lol.

She nestled right into a bed of natural Spanish moss, making the perfect spring home decorating kit.

Easter Hunt Haven - Easter Sign with Tulips and Eggs

Anyone else in love with “real feel” foam tulips? I’m obsessed. We used gorgeous salmon ones previously in our forsythia planter decor kit, and I knew these pale pink ones belonged in an Easter-themed home decorating kit.

I mean, really, is it even Easter without tulips? Fortunately, the bunnies can’t eat these! Lol. The challenge is, the simplicity of tulips is both their beauty and their weakness—they can look a little sparse unless you're in Holland with thousands of them (by the way, that's a bucket-list item for me!).

I knew I needed to add something extra special, so I found the perfect egg pick accessory. This decor kit still wasn’t complete, though! :) I started looking for additional fun accessories and found inspiration with this vertical Easter sign, which perfectly tied in the classic Easter colors with the tulip-and-egg pick. I finished off this charming home decorating kit with a little natural moss, and voilà!

Blossoms & Bunny Tails - Canvas Bunny and Pink Flowers

Some of our customers are minimalists, while others prefer the "more is more" approach. We love you all, but this particular decor kit is definitely for our minimalists. It’s delicate, classic, and simply adorable.

The inspiration for this decor kit actually came from some "bunny garland" I saw. We get really creative with items that need to be “stickable”—if we can’t securely attach an item to the foam block of your sign, preventing it from blowing away, it doesn’t make the cut. But these bunnies were too cute to pass up, so we figured it out!

And since I didn’t want to overshadow them with floral elements, these simple pink blossoms were just perfect. I hope you love the simplicity of this decor kit as much as I do. :)

Hoppy Days Ahead - Hop Sign

I fell in love with the cottontail—truly, love at first sight! The sign was substantial in size, so I knew we couldn't use overpowering flowers or green moss that would compete visually. I usually try not to share my personal favorites, but my absolute favorite flower is the stargazer lily because it smells heavenly—I can smell them right now as I'm writing this!

I always coordinate colors and textures of accessories with the fabulous floral elements we select, and there was no doubt in my mind this was the right combination for this home decorating kit.

Lilies naturally stand-alone beautifully and felt perfectly balanced alongside this darling sign. To everyone who received this decor kit, just HOP right into the Easter season…you have arrived! :)

Egg Nest Whimsy - Large Egg and Big Eucalyptus Leaves

We have many customers who enjoy our decor kits each month; about half love fun, bright, colorful displays, and the other half prefer a more neutral palette.

This leafy, soft eucalyptus was perfect for the latter. It has the coolest texture, a beautiful sage-green tone, and the muted colors in the eggs create a yummy combination. The challenge was finding the ideal accessory to complement this decor kit, and it turned out to be a giant egg! Well, maybe not giant, but dinosaur-sized-ish. Lol. Not sure what the bird will be when it hatches, but it’s going to look delightful on many customers’ porches this month!

Speaking of hatchlings…birds love using our moss for their nests, and sometimes they’re too lazy to move it. So, keep an eye on your Entry Envy sign this spring.
