Today, I connected one of the biggest and most important dots I ever have about what I’m building and creating through Entry Envy. What started as a simple concept—creating personalized home identification signs with faux floral refill decor kits—remains true. But over the past few years, I’ve realized that what we really deliver is joy.

Why Happiness Matters in Life and Business

Anyone who has ever worked with me in the past twenty years in corporate America has heard me ask in their performance review, “Are you happy?” Because when people are happy, they thrive. It’s that simple. Joy and happiness are essential for success, and if you’re interested in learning more, I highly recommend Shawn Achor’s book, The Happiness Advantage.

I’m also a huge believer in the Clifton StrengthsFinder, which is built on the premise that everyone is good at least five things. If people are aware of their strengths and have the opportunity to use them daily, they will be happy—and, as a result, successful. I’ve lived by my Strengths for the last 25 years and firmly believe this applies to every individual I’ve ever worked with. One of my gifts is recognizing people’s strengths—sometimes even better than they can.

My “Why” – Helping Women Find Joy and Happiness

My purpose in life is to support women and help them be happy. I want them to love their life. Feeling empowered to make decisions is just as important. Most of all, they need to understand that making everyone else happy won’t make them happy—they have to prioritize their own happiness first.

When women prioritize their mental and physical health, they’re better able to take care of those around them. And gosh darn it, if coming home to beautiful flowers on their front porch brings them joy and makes them happy, then they should buy them!
