After a relatively mild winter in the Midwest, February made up for it with a blast of snow, ice, and cold. The winter chill has been unseasonably harsh across the country, and no matter where you live, we all feel the same: the shorter, darker days have left us longing for longer hours of sunshine!

The Art of Designing the Perfect Spring Decor Kit

When designing each spring decor kit, I carefully select three different floral stems, cut them to the correct height, arrange them, steam them, and wrap them with matching floral tape. Every month, I design 5-8 different kits, meaning there’s always a lot of faux florals happening in our studio!

The accessories are just as important—they can make or break the entire kit. I often compare them to a beverage napkin at a party (and trust me, I can throw a great party!). Just as a napkin sets the color palette and mood for an event, the accessory is the starting point for our kits. If I can’t find the perfect one, we create it ourselves to ensure each spring decor kit is thoughtfully designed and beautifully coordinated.
